Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification business Smart Buildings division in Hyderabad, India. You will be mainly accountable for: • Maintaining recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work. • Finding new ways of solving problems by following your ideas, creating hypotheses, and defining ways to validate them. • Documenting work results (like findings, designs, or software), allowing others to maintain and improve them. • Understanding and initiating IP generation in your area of specialization and participating in the project IP strategy development. • The ideal candidate needs to work in tandem with our Product management, R&D team and external firms on connected solutions in IoT, Microservices, Mobility, Cloud platforms and Edge devices in the ELSB NEMA domain with scalability, security, multi-tenancy, service-oriented architecture - AWS/Azure/Google • Must have good understanding of: • Device connection - device registration; connecting smart devices over MQTT and HTTPS protocols, with high availability and auto-scaling clusters. • Device control and management - manage the life cycle of connected devices and standard instruction models for device control • Comprehensive IoT-enabled basic capabilities: Develop API-based IoT SaaS applications backed by capabilities like interconnection, registration, authorization, etc.

Qualifications for the role

• B. Tech/M. Tech in CSE/ECE/EE from reputed institutes with 6+ years of hands-on experience in the development of IoT/Digital Solutions and Industrial protocols
• Certifications - Microsoft Azure/AWS and Experience in the Electrical protection/controls Firmware domain preferred
• Awareness to Cloud development - understand fundamental services for smart solutions with experience in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of projects in the cloud, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Basic understanding of Cloud Technologies, Microservices, AWS/Azure and Cloud development and Basic knowledge of WPF & MVVM
• Exposure to Mobile (iOS & Android) development framework will be an added advantage
• The candidate must have hands-on development of IoT services using Python SDK, Java SDK, Node.js SDK etc. Good understanding of AWS/Azure and Industrial protocols will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in SQL, PL/SQL for writing Database queries, stored procedures, trigger packages.
• Good Knowledge on Multithreading, SDLC, Agile practices & Iterative development process and Familiarity with frontend frameworks, cyber security and secure coding practices
