Are you eager to learn and develop new skills? Are you ready to power up your career? Prime Power Services' two-year Generator Field Service Technician Apprenticeship Program is your gateway to a high-demand career in the world of emergency power supply systems (EPSS). No prior experience required!
Participants in the program will acquire skills in the EPSS industry while employed full-time and earning a living. Our emergency power apprentices learn from some of the most knowledgeable and respected leaders in the industry in a supportive environment. Prime Power's training campus is located in Mableton, GA, and hosts an award-winning training team of EGSA-certified trainers and experts in learning and development.
Join us here in Atlanta for your first 90 days and afterward stay in Georgia or relocate to one of our regions in Tampa (FL), the Carolinas, or the National Capital Region in Virginia. When the program is complete, participants will have earned certifications and hands-on experience that will help pave the way for a well-paid, high-demand career.
Our next apprentice class will start in January 2025.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The employee must be able to frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.
Other Requirements:
Must hold a valid driver's license and have a driving record showing zero felony convictions and less than three (3) moving violations within the previous three years.
Must pass a criminal background check and mandatory drug screening.
