Ideal Candidates:

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the central design figure on a team by designing the layout of: rough and precise grading and erosion control plans; public, offsite, and street improvements; underground utilities including water and sewer.
  • Prepare technical reports including hydrology and hydraulics, earthworks, sewer capacity, water demand, etc.
  • Involved in the preliminary, DD, and CD phase; completing due diligence, feasibility studies, and entitlements; provide construction support through site visits, project coordination, and responding to RFIs.
  • Able to independently perform complex design tasks and solve major design issues with little to no supervisory input.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in land development design.
  • Minimum two years independently solving complex engineering problems within land development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, LDD and/or Civil 3D software required.

Approved Salary Range: $95,000 - $122,000
