We are looking for team members to join a family run business operating in Fort Myers for over 45 years. Our company is licensed all electrical and specializes in whole house backup power generators. Our Residential Generator Service and Maintenace Technicians serve the customers by providing generator install and swap outs with an emphasis on quality of work, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes. Always deliver exceptional customer service by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention creating a positive memory of their service experience.

The ideal candidate is someone that is looking to grow with our company and learn multiple aspects of our business.

Potential Earnings: $20 - $25 per hour

Responsibilities:
  1. Installation: Technicians are involved in the initial setup and installation of residential generators. This includes positioning the generator in an appropriate location, connecting it to the home's electrical system, and ensuring proper ventilation and fuel supply.
  2. Regular Maintenance: Regular maintenance is essential to keep generators in optimal condition. Technicians perform routine inspections, oil changes, filter replacements, and other maintenance tasks to prevent issues and ensure the generator is ready when needed.
  3. Scheduled Service: They often follow manufacturer-recommended service schedules, which might involve checking the battery, testing the generator's output, inspecting electrical connections, and verifying the functionality of automatic transfer switches.
  4. Troubleshooting and Repairs: If a generator fails to start or experiences issues, technicians diagnose and troubleshoot the problem. They identify faulty components, replace parts, and conduct necessary repairs to restore the generator's functionality.
