Systems Engineering in Schiphol/Amsterdam.
In this department, the hardware of systems for industrial process automation is "engineered". These automation systems are produced entirely according to customer specifications. Customers include the (petro)chemical industry, oil and gas extraction (offshore) and steel industry.
The purpose of this role is to lead/implement complex and standard engineering solutions, typically undertaking one aspect of a large project (i.e. MMI, Control or Safety applications, IT, Hardware design), to successful completion within budgeted time and cost constraints achieving required quality.May interface directly with customers on specific design details of non-standard solutions.Can technically coach/mentor an assistant and actively allocates knowledge with other engineers in the discipline team.To support the implementation of projects in line with objectives including continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital and safety performance.

We are looking for an insistent person who on the one hand wants to be technically active and on the other hand maintains the overview to be able to monitor the own required progress. Depending on the situation, we work on approximately 2 to 6 projects at the same time, so that mental switching and action is necessary. All work will be executed in the office in the Integration Center, but also at customer sites located in the Benelux (mainly the Netherlands)

Your profile
- Bachelors' degree in engineering preferred
- Affinity with software engineering and industrial automation
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA preferably in DCS
- Dutch and English language skills
