Weatherford are currently looking for an experienced Electrical/DAQ R&M (Repair & Maintenance) Technician to join the team in Dyce, Aberdeen. The R&M Technician's primary role will be to assemble, disassemble rental equipment (under supervision) as well as assemble components (under supervision) per work instructions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist senior workshop personnel in the preparation and testing of Thru-Tubing equipment.
• The successful individual will be expected to follow a specified learning plan that will include various computer-based learning modules as well as classroom training.
• May take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• The individual applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform tasks strictly in accordance to Weatherford OEPS standards.
• The successful candidate will receive close supervision and thorough review of all work performed for application of sound professional judgment.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years relevant experience in an oil and gas workshop environment.
• Basic mathematics.
• Awareness of NDT, NDE and ATEX policies and principles.
• Should be able to perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, monitoring of equipment.
• Critical thinking, active learning and listening, complex problem solving.
• Good reading and writing skills, strong judgement and decision-making to be in line with policies and procedures.
• Good time management.
• Capable of meeting the physical demands that the role requires.
• Ability to react effectively and efficiently in operating tools and machinery.
