Job Summary.

A proactive and versatile Tender Engineer to support tender managers, have the ability to manage own tenders, and maximize the tender winning chances by continuously working with BD&S, Technology team, Procurement, Engineering and Management to optimize Tender solutions and concept from handover to submission.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and Manage assigned tenders in accordance with Company procedures and norms to ensure NOV Process Systems maximizes its business opportunities.
• Support Tender managers by taking other general tender duties that may be requested. The list of duties is not exhaustive in any way and may change at any time.
• Support Sales Manager in client correspondence, communication and building Client relations to maximize current and future opportunities.
• Ensure that a common Tender Process and tender approach is executed to increase efficiency and quality of the tender process in the organization.
• Attain the objectives set by NOV Process Systems management.
• Participate within the tender team in accordance with NOV Process Systems strategy as well as Business objectives.
• Ensure proper interface communication with Sales, Procurement & Operation Functions.
• Ensure risk management of assigned tender as per company procedures.
• Float Enquiries in the market and build suppliers relation and trust.
• Actively provide input and work with the tender procedures and tools to ensure they are continuously updated according to the Tender group's needs.
• Performance targets for the year to be established every year as per instructions from NOV Process Systems Board and NOV Group and managed through standard business processes.
• Maximize the tender winning chances by continuously working with BD&S, Technology team, Procurement, Engineering, and Management to optimize Tender solutions and concepts from handover from BD&S to submission.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

Essential:

• Technical degree, preferably Bachelor or Master of Science or engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience in
• Experience in Sales/Tendering/Project management/engineering Processes in the Oil & Gas industry
• Extensive knowledge of Project and Tender execution principles
• Continuous improvement focus
• Ability to write compelling, attractive tender documentation that is easy to understand and positions the business well to the client
• Willing to travel within the region as required.
