EngineeringJobName : Internship Mechanical engineer ID133
JobSummary : Project title :Design and setup of a mechabical shock test bench
DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE
The objective of this internship is to finalize the design of a test bench for simulating shocks on a high added value product made in composite material. The aim will be to understand the mechanical design choices that have been made and to complete the specifications of the test bench through a functional analysis. Then the intern will propose and implement improvements which will consist in modifications/enhancements to the current design, taking into account the safety aspect to ensure safer use for engineers and technicians. It will also be necessary to select and integrate suitable sensors to measure the level of shock and thus ensure the validity of the tests that will be carried out. These sensors must then be connected to a Beckoff PLC allowing data acquisition via an interface designed by the trainee. Finally, the trainee will be responsible for producing all the technical design documentation and the user manual of the test bench.
Part of a young, cohesive, and dynamic team, the intern will have the opportunity to discover composite, and its testing methods, benefit from the whole team member support and expertise in mechanical design & automation and express one's creativity.
DELIVERABL ES
Conduct functional analysis on current test bench and propose improvements Integrate shock sensors connected to a PLC and setup an HMI Write down the technical documentation and user manual
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Curiosity & proactivity
• Good English level
• Mechanical design,
• Automation,
• Shock and vibration,
• PLC Programing
AdditionalResponsibilities :
Master Degree - (Penultimate or Final year) in Automation, Safety, Measurement, qualification test or a related discipline
Oral and written communication skills in English
Good motivation, autonomy, teamwork, and ingenuity
