We serve a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement,blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others. SLB Capturi is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials. 
Are you an experienced and dedicated Senior Instrumentation Engineer, with a strong passion for making a difference in the world and believe that technology is part of the solution to solve climate change?

As our new Senior Instrumentation Engineer, you will:
  • Be responsible for technical procurement of instruments, including specification of equipment, bid evaluations, and supplier follow-up.
  • Be responsible for developing ACC instrumentation standards, methods, and philosophies.
  • Be responsible for handling and solving site queries on CCUS projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise multi-location teams of instrumentation engineers, including field engineers.
  • Coordinate instrumentation scope with other disciplines, teams, partners, suppliers, and installation contractors on CCUS projects.
  • Be responsible for providing input to studies, tendering, sales, and implementing CCUS technology in projects.
  • Contribute to standardization and general effective execution of CCUS projects.
  • Contribute to finding ways to optimize costs while maintaining quality & schedule.

You have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control & Automation engineering (or similar) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience from project work.
  • Expertise in ISO, EN, ATEX, IEC, and other international codes and standards about instrumentation, control, and automation systems.
  • Multidisciplinary understanding with varied work performed both on layout and system-related parts of the discipline.
  • Experienced in instrumentation cabling, cable tray layouts, and other related activities.
  • Experience in functional safety, IEC61511, worked with safety systems, SIL loops, Fire detection, Gas detection, and alarming systems is an advantage.
  • Experience working with FTIR, Gas Chromatograph, mass & ultrasonic flowmeters, and gas and smoke detectors is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to use standardized solutions for optimal design.
  • Preferably experience in the land-based industry.

  • Flexible regarding work tasks and possible practical fieldwork, as required.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
