Your role on the team involves implementing the advanced DC-DC power design for Apple's next generation Mac platforms covering desktop designs, portable computers, and other future Mac products.

Description
As a DC-DC power system designer, you will be driving innovative power circuit designs and system level partitioning from concept investigation and design through successful product level implementation.

- Work with system and power architects on CPU/GPU computer system architecture investigations using single-phase and multi-phase dc-dc voltage regulators.

- Apply technical rigor to analyze design tradeoffs including system performance, power consumption & efficiency, physical size, cost, carbon footprint and scalability.

- Own power circuit schematic and BOM. Work with PCB layout team.

- Develop new components with integrated circuit, capacitor and inductor vendors.

- Validate prototypes and perform competitive bench marking through lab testing.

- Provide technical support for production issues debug and resolutions.

- Conduct DC-DC power seminars and training for multi-functional teams.

- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior DCDC engineers.

- Spearhead innovation via exemplary behavior and collaboration.
