Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to Deploy and support a Quality Culture within ABB suppliers, by assuring and controlling Quality with systems, tools, and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. Drive and maintains the Quality, Reduce the internal failure. All aspects managed in line with ABB Group/Division/BU guidance. The work model for the role is: #Li - Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors Division in Vadodara, Gujarat. . You will be mainly accountable for: • Deploy and sustained implementation of P-instructions on workstations to ensure the processes are performed as per set of standard procedures • Assists in the implementation of effective internal controls to verify that processes will meet customer and stakeholder requirements. Validates that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating known risks. • Drive and maintain the process capabilities through a First Pass Yield measurement, bridge the gap and continually improves to meet the set target and customers' needs and expectations. • To perform a process audits, product audits, layered audits, Internal NCR management and handling and work on the improvements to adopt a structured approach of root cause analysis, validation, verification with corrective /preventive actions in place. • Utilize the local Quality Management System to provide the s with procedures and documentation that sufficiently describe their work activities. and system of process management that is continually evaluated for effectiveness.

Qualifications for the role
- BE Mechanical Engineering with experience of 8 to 12 years in Quality.
- Skill Sigma Green belt, 8D / RCA Analysis with resolution. ISO 9001: 2015 at least internal auditor certification
- Strong manufacturing process experience in forging, casting, fabrication and welding, machining, stamping and extrusion.
- Preferred experience from Electrical Motors industries / Automotive / Pump and valves.
- Experience in supplier quality, supplier selection, assessment, evaluation, and continuous monitoring.
- 8D Management handling in SNCRP (Supplier Nonconformity Resolution Process)
- Hands on experience on SPC, MSA, PFMEA, Process Capabilities, APQP, Kaizen, Poka-yoke, Jig & Fixtures added advantage knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools like VSM, Jidoka, Hijunka, Gemba and Gembetsu.
