Fire Protection Engineer - Offshore
KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. KBR is looking for a Fire Protection Engineer-Offshore to help support large capital projects for Offshore applications.
Under broad direction, supervises and leads a group of engineers. Sets the technical standards and procedures of a group of engineers and designers. Job role is responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years related experience, with average experience of 20+ years.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- This position has lead responsibility over a small group of fire protection engineers or functions as a technical specialist who develops and applies advanced fire protection engineering concepts.
- The individual should have experience designing fire protection systems for greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Skill set should include experience developing and/or checking the following deliverables: Firewater System P&IDs, Fire Protection Location Plans, Electrical Area Classification Plans, Fire Proofing Limit Plans and F&G Detection Location Plans.
- Must have experience working with 3rd parties in supporting the development of specialty process safety related studies.
- Normally requires a minimum of 10 years of experience, but individuals typically possess 15+ years of experience.
