SNR CONTRACT ENGINEER

We are working with our client based in Qatar to source a SNR CONTRACT ENGINEER. This is residential contract to be based in Qatar.

Qualification:
  • Qualification and background - BSc Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or Commercial field or its equivalent - Professional experience
  • Minimum 10 years' experience required in Drilling, Geoscience and Marine contracts within the O&G industry. - Personal Abilities: Basic Management, Advanced Human Relations, Problem Solving and Planning / organizing / coordinating / controlling.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen - Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively manage own workload and work under pressure within given timescales.
  • Pro-active and forward-looking approach - Commitment to provide excellent client relations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To produce contractual documents according to company procedure and ethics
  • To provide a quality, cost-effective and time efficient contracts to technical entities
  • To participate in the optimization of the economic performance of the operations conducted
  • Prepare and maintain an up-to-date list of qualified contractors/suppliers/potential tenders/contracts with updated information in order to perform market studies; analyse and assess all possible answers from the market.
