Our UK facility is the European Maintenance Centre Hub for the SHE Group, performing level 1 to level 3 maintenance and repairs on complex helicopter engine components. Our experienced teams partner with our broad, global customer base, providing both technical expertise and broader support in both the fixed wing and rotary wing markets.
What will I be doing?
The purpose of the job is to carry out level 1 to 3 maintenance activities on Safran HE engines and modules on site or off-site by taking into account Quality, Cost, Turnaround time and customer satisfaction from initial inspection up to release.
1. Decide on the intervention's feasibility by taking into account the reason for return, the engine documentation and personal qualifications
2. Define and ensure availability of all resources - equipment, parts, release documents, tooling, documentation, qualifications and purchase order - necessary for the maintenance intervention
3. Identify the complete scope of the intervention in order to be able to ensure the airworthiness of the engine or module
4. Carry out the maintenance activities on the engine or module in accordance with the Safran HE maintenance documentation
5. Carry out and certify all relevant recording, reporting and release documentation associated with any work carried out to standards defined in Safran HE maintenance documentation
6. Carry out secondary duties as defined by his/her manager
7. Work in accordance with Company Operating Systems, policies and procedures
8. Work in accordance with HSE legislation. Identify and report any HSE risks to his/her manager or HSE representative
9. Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, working practices and take responsibility for implementing
10. As the representative of Safran HE UK delivering support regarding Safran HE products and services, the successful candidate must support and promote Company values and behaviours

• 5 years mechanical engineering experience post apprenticeship
• EASA 145 knowledge
