JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer (Temporary) that has previous experience for the Technology management department's activities, which include market analysis, competitor and supply chain analysis, preliminary sales & marketing, technical services of pre- commercial phase of inhouse technology projects. Liaising with other departments such as Researcher and Business Support to ensure great technology product or service.

This position requires the job holder to plan and manage customer relations to achieve project target and to ensure meeting the expectations and needs of all customers/stakeholder and principals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and executes the business plan in line with strategy.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers.
• Analyzes customer needs, markets, value chains, competitors for all period of the project/product lifetime.
• Provide technical advice to customers on product specifications.
• Develops effective sales and marketing plans and strategies.
• Review product performance and plan improvement
• Project Action Tracking, Scheduling
• Keep up to date with new product developments and industry trends.
• Coordinate with research and business development team

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• min 7 years of experience in sales or business development or sales support of chemical products
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to learn product information and communicate it to customers
• Ability to work independently and to coordinate multiple projects
• Hardworking, proactive and possesses teamwork attitude with leadership and problem - solving skills
• Good English communication skills
• Proactive and strong leadership skills
