RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a key part of the process design team on a current project with a valued client
- Carry out process design work and related activities as assigned
- Prepare the process deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs and Equipment Process Data Sheets
- Supervise the work of others on the team as assigned in line with the project organisation
- Work in partnership and assist other disciplines as required to meet project requirements
- Participate in design review meetings
- Use technical knowledge and skills to design and develop a new process
- Designing and optimization process flow diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Conducting process simulation and modeling
- Design and calculate the engineering design process to improve. To enhance the quality, efficiency and capacity of the process
- Participate process safety assessment and risk analysis
- Collaborate with Technologist and others to develop a new process/new product
- Responsible for problem solving and troubleshooting, utilizing a variety of engineering methods and tools to develop solutions to complex engineering problem
- Perform in comply with rule, regulation, command, policy and other standard application of company. Study, understand and act comply with rule, command, deployed policy
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Have at least 8 years experience in process engineering design in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Refinery industry
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate process teams
- Experience in developing H&MB, PFD's, P&ID's, MSD's and process equipment / instrument datasheets
- Strong experience in Process Simulation (HYSIS / ASPEN / PROII)
- Process study experience would be beneficial
- Prior HAZOP / SIL experience either as Chairman or attendee
- Be able to participate in technical clarification, and technical bid evaluation
- Be able to perform process study report in the complicate scope
- Be able to provide input for HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and 3D model review
- Be able to prepare material take off within project timeline
- Additional experience in construction or commissioning is preferable
