Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Traction Division in Nelamangala, India. You will be mainly accountable for: • Supporting Projects on technical or process issues • He/she performs validation and verification activities on functions and TC&IS sub-system (TCMS / VCU SW) on the project assigned. • Provide input and recommend changes to new and existing product designs. • Continually recommends improvements in all areas related to standards, prod-ucts. • He/she executes engineering activities of one of the Train Control and Information Solutions (TC&IS) Domain: Proto Validation & test. • To do technical support for TCMS, assume traveling of approximately 20-30% depending on the project requirement.

Qualifications for the role
- Requires a Bachelor's/master's degree in electrical /Electronic engineering.
- TCMS Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 1 to 2 years of experience (TCMS - Train control and Management System)
- Programming experiences preferably in C, C++, C#, Java, XML, python
- Programming experiences in IEC 61131 (PLC, SCADA and industrial Automation Knowledge)
- Good Application knowledge of three phase electric locomotives, propulsion converter, Auxiliary converters, Communication Protocols such as CAN (Control Area Network), MVB (Multifunction Vehicle Bus), WTB (Wire Train Bus), HMI (Human Machine Interface)
- Ability to convert the function description to mathematical/logic solution.
