Be part of a team that designs, develops and executes Testsand Test Solutions for all products falling under the (EPS) Engines and Power Systemsumbrella. You will play a significant role among a group of engineers andtechnicians in the development and certification of a variety of auxiliarypower units (APUs), power systems and propulsion engines (fan and shaft power).

This team is actively engaged in Engineering TestTransformation - helping to redefine how test is done at E&PS. Ouroverarching mission is to ensure that our customers obtain the data they needthe first time. We develop, own and maintain the facilities andtest processes that enable the development, certification and long-term supportof the entirety of the E&PS product families.

Key Responsibilities

• Learns new engine models while taking increasingly independent role in preparation, execution and troubleshooting of Development and Certification Tests while also supporting Production and Overhaul (FAA Safety Sensitive) groups.
• Applies knowledge of complex mechanical products test methods to learn engine models, systems and test equipment
• Provides constructive feedback on test plans and test approaches, Models Safety, HOS, Behaviors and Continuous Improvement
• Supports team in establishing solutions to meet requirements for innovative test solutions for new and existing products

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma orGED
• Minimum 5-7 years of related experience in a Test, Engineering or related Technician role, supporting integrated mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic systems

WE VALUE

• Strong troubleshooting skills with complex, integrated systems with emphasis on driving the team to identify root cause as well as contributing causes - and playing a role in recommending and implementing corrective actions
• Experience in some of the following is of value:
  • Experience executing complex and/or unique Turbine Engine Tests
  • Experience in Test, Engineering and/or assembly Technician role related to Turbine Engine, APUs, propulsion, power systems, or related
  • Experience in a Test engineering environment
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work independently - toward achieving team, project and organization vision
• Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions inthe face of ambiguous and complex situations
