Your role and responsibilities

Internally, the HSE specialist regularly exchanges with the HSE managers of the other Business Areas, the division managers, the head of the Motion France business area (for whom he reports), as well as with the service division (technicians and managers). He also exchanges with our Sustainability managers at European and local level. Externally, he maintains relationships with his counterparts at our customers, subcontractors, and partners. • Conducts and facilitates the assessment of HSE risks and ensures that all processes are implemented. In charge of reporting, communication, awareness of HSE incidents, provides feedback on lessons learned as well as best practices, to management and employees. • Provides feedback on lessons learned and best practices from their own unit and across ABB to management and employees. Reports on progress in the implementation of the ABB Group's Sustainable Development Goals and key performance indicators for the Motion France Business Area. • Implements policies and standards. Prepares and manages internal and external audits and ensures that the Business Area is compliant in terms of internal (ABB Way) and external (ISO, MASE) auditing • Assists Motion management in understanding obligations, responsibilities and the fulfillment of roles, in accordance with local HSE legislation as well as specific ABB Group and company requirements. Drives behavior change through the local implementation of group-wide and company-wide performance improvement programs and practices. • Incorporates an exemplary health and safety culture, as well as a strong focus on the environment for the entire Area Motion business. Engages external stakeholders (e.g., customers, suppliers, competent authorities) and internal stakeholders to report, raise awareness, gain engagement, and obtain objective feedback on ABB's HSE efforts and performance. • Cooperates with other functions and business partners to drive HSE performance. Ensures that appropriate safety equipment and tools are compliant, controlled, available and used. Identifies, plans and launches HSE training needs for Motion France employees. You'll be joining a high-performance team where you can flourish.

Qualifications for the role
- At least Bac +2/3 level training: DUT, BTS, bachelor's degree in HSE
- 3 years' experience in a similar position or in the HSE field
- Fluent in English (minimum B2)
- Ability to federate, force of proposal
- Organization and rigor
- Good communication and public speaking skills
