EngineeringWe are looking for candidates that would be suitable for role Urea Field Operator in the GCC
Post: Urea Field Operator
Location: GCC Countries
Qualifications – Diploma in Chemical engineering.
Experience: 3 years of experience in Urea (Prefer experience from Fertilizer/ Oil & Gas industry)
Job Responsibilities:
§Operates all Urea area equipment as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure their healthiness through diagnosing any abnormalities and reporting them to the Panel Operators and the Shift Engineers.
§ Communicates with the control room (Panel Operators) immediately in case of any parameter abnormalities or process deviation.
§ Identifies and informs the Shift engineer for correction of any abnormality in the case of equipment/instrument malfunction.
§ Operates and controls the plant manually in the case of instrumentation and controls system failure.
§ Handles and controls the equipment and actuators in a safe manner. Isolates the equipment in case of emergencies safely.
§ Cooperates with the maintenance department, lab and other departments for running the plant smoothly.
§ Maintains Adequate housekeeping according to the company’s HSE procedures.
§ Performs the collection of samples, greasing, lubricating, adjusting, changing filters and other duties in coordination with the relevant departments.
§ Performs planned inspections and safety tours to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
§ Reacts to plant process or safety emergencies promptly and carries out actions as laid down in the HSE procedures and SOPs.
§ Ensures all jobs carried out in the plant are done in compliance with the policies and procedures and have obtained the needed work permits.
