Position: Senior Flexible and Umbilical Engineer
Location: Paris, La Défense, 3 days in the office
Duration: 1 year renewable contract
Project: Dalia Lifex

This position requires leading engineering activities, coordinating with contractors and internal teams, and ensuring successful project execution during all phases from engineering to offshore installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with technical requirements, project specifications, and industry standards for flexible and umbilical systems.
• Manage engineering studies, technical documentation, and design reviews related to flexible and umbilical systems.
• Supervise the detailed engineering process, ensuring the timely delivery of documentation and compliance with project requirements.
• Interface with other SURF specialists and disciplines to ensure coordination and consistency across the project.
• Lead the resolution of technical issues during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Provide ongoing feedback to management regarding the status of activities and potential risks.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Educational Qualifications: Master's Degree in Engineering.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong focus on flexible and umbilical systems design, manufacturing, and installation.
• Technical Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of flexible and umbilical engineering, manufacturing, and installation processes.
  • Project management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and scheduling.
  • Experience in managing contractor relationships, technical negotiations, and external studies.
  • Proficiency in reviewing technical documentation and ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
• Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
