EngineeringWe are looking for a "Project Engineer for Marine and Offshore Construction" to join the dynamic team of an international oil and gas company. The company is renowned for its innovation and commitment to sustainable development, making it a key player in the energy industry.
This position is based in the Netherlands and is offered on a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the design and construction of marine and offshore, vessels, infrastructure and equipment
• Study engineering solutions (conceptual in-house and following third parties during basic and detail engineering)
• Creating equipment technical tenders and technical follow-up of equipment suppliers
• Managing subcontractors on site (onshore/offshore) during execution periods
• Performing yard surveys, and construction sites
• Performing vessel and platform surveys
• Reporting weekly, and monthly activities
• Provide support to the project manager for:
Requirements
• Bachelor in mechanical or Naval or Structural engineering
• 3 to 10 years of experience including :
Skills:
• Willing to be part of a fast-paced developing company
• Frequent local travel and offshore visits (short duration)
• Stays onshore/offshore during execution, up to 3 weeks (3 to 4 times per year)
• Team player
• Passion for a technical and challenging project
• Strong computer skills with the ability to create detailed and meticulous documentation
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD
• Understanding of marine engineering with the ability to perform simple calculations
• English mandatory, Dutch or French is a plus

Requirements
• Bachelor in mechanical or Naval or Structural engineering
• 3 to 10 years of experience including :
- Project engineering in the marine and/or offshore industry
- Marine / Offshore hands-on project execution experience is a plus
- Good experience of yards and construction sites
- Vessel special surveys and drydocking a plus
