Overview

The Solar Service Technician will trouble-shoot system issues, interface with customers, complete appropriate documentation, and report progress to dispatcher.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot system issues using a variety of tools and equipment including hand tools, ladders, and personal protective equipment, etc.
  • Turning systems on and walking customers through its basic operation
  • Setting up and scanning online monitoring units
  • Document the project site with photos and digital forms
  • Upload information and documents to project management software
  • Additional duties required as needed

Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years residential solar troubleshooting experience
  • Must be able to lift 70lbs and maneuver a large ladder and other equipment as necessary
  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops and in attics of multi-level buildings
  • Basic knowledge of residential electrical systems
  • Must be able to reach and interpret solar designs and electrical one-line diagrams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Previous Solar PV installation experience required
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
