Your role and responsibilities
You will be working as Medium Voltage Drives Testing Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for conducting testing and verification activities for assignments of low or medium testing complexity of systems, subsystems, or products effectively and cost-efficiently and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards Work Model : #LI-Onsite The role belongs to Motion Business for System Drives, based in Nelamangala - Bangalore, India Your role and responsibilities Routine testing of various families of variable speed drives, and generation of test reports Offering drives for customer inspection or witness by consultant in line with approved quality assurance plan Periodic maintenance and calibration of instruments or equipment in test field Coordinating with factory for monthly planning of testing activities in line with revenue or production plan Coordinating with engineering for revisions and document update Participating in special testing requirements at other factories or customer sites

Qualifications for the role
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ yrs of experience with VFD panel testing or commissioning or Engineering
- Experience with engineering or testing of variable speed drives, and associated IEC/IS standards and HW & SW tools
- Practice of all safety requirements including procedures, PPE, practices, hazard reporting etc.
- Familiarity with operation and maintenance of circuit breakers, transformers and motors
- Knowledge with 5S and exposure to lean six sigma is desirable
