Environmental Officer
Location: Oman 

On behalf of a major EPC company, WRS are looking for a Environemntal Officer to work in Oman on a contract, rotational basis. The role will be rotating 12/2 weeks at site, paying a monthly salary in USD.
The role will be supporting the construction of a large LNG train.

Overview:We seek an experienced Environmental Supervisor to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices on the LNG Project in Oman.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with environmental policies and regulations.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Implement environmental management plans (EMP) and monitoring programs.
• Liaise with authorities, contractors, and internal teams.
• Provide training on environmental protection measures.
• Monitor key environmental indicators and report performance.
• Promote sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience in environmental management, preferably in oil & gas/LNG.
• Knowledge of Oman’s environmental regulations and international best practices.
• Experience with EIA, EMS, and ISO 14001 certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
