EnvironmentalExciting opportunity for an Environmental Technical Lead - Oil & Gas to be based in our client's Aberdeen office and join their new Environmental Team and play a pivotal role in its growth and development. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Oil and Gas Environmental Technical Lead ready to take the next step in their career!
Key Responsibilities:
š¹Overall technical lead for all environmental support to UK Oil and Gas projects.
š¹Technical lead for project delivery. Technical excellence is key, you would be responsible for the quality of all environmental support provided to UK Oil and Gas projects.
š¹Business development across Oil and Gas projects, building a portfolio of clients for the delivery of environmental and sustainability support and guidance.
š¹Conducting related environmental and sustainability consultancy scopes for the Oil and Gas sector.
š¹Provision of strategic environmental guidance and advice to clients.
š¹Technical report authorship, checking, reviewing and approval.
š¹Leading junior specialists on projects and providing technical guidance and mentoring support.
š¹Preparation of cost estimates and bids for new work scopes.
š¹Project management to ensure studies and projects are delivered in compliance with agreed scope, budgets and schedules.
š¹Direct engagement with clients and developing strong relationships with existing and future clients.
š¹Recruitment of new team members to match market growth.
Requirements:
⢠Degree(s) in a relevant subject matter.
⢠Chartership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CEnv).
⢠Experience working in the UK Energy industry, ideally on Oil and Gas projects.
⢠Existing network of clients and industry contacts.
⢠Experience leading work scopes to meet delivery/cost targets without compromising quality.
⢠Familiar with relevant legislation and industry standards and able to apply this knowledge and advise clients.
⢠Ability to prepare technical reports to a high standard and check the work of others.
