RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

• Environmental Assessments: Conduct studies to identify potential environmental impacts, risks, and liabilities associated with projects or operations
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure adherence to environmental laws, regulations, and standards. This includes monitoring and reporting on compliance, conducting audits, and preparing necessary documentation
• Environmental Management Plans: Develop and implement plans to manage environmental risks and impacts, including waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation
• Sustainability: Promote and implement sustainable practices within organizations, such as energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction
• Guidance and Advice: Provide expert advice to stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and management teams, on environmental issues and best practices

• Experience: Practical experience in an environmental field is highly valued, potentially gained through internships or entry-level positions
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of environmental regulations, laws, and sustainability principles is essential
• Skills: Effective communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail are crucial

Additional Requirements:

• Candidates must have full work rights in PNG to be considered for this role.
