Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Provides environmental field compliance support for Oil & Gas operations in Argentina.
• Provides technical consultation to the workforce, project teams and leadership on a wide range of environmental matters spanning the design, fabrication, installation, operations and decommissioning of Chevron assets.
• Demonstrate competency in interpreting environmental regulations and interacting with regulatory agency representatives.
• Provide guidance in environmental field compliance including spill & air emission reporting, waste management; preferred working knowledge of Argentina regulations.
• Handle multiple projects/activities and managing competing priorities, including the tracking and delivery of key actions assigned.
• Advise on compliance actions, permit preparation and regulatory submittals.
• Demonstrate experience in implementing programs of compliance in an operating environment including safeguard verification activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in an environment related field of study. Preferred Environmental engineering.
• +10 years of experience in the environmental field, Oil and Gas industry.
• Advanced or fluent English level.
• Understanding of Argentina regulations and a working knowledge of environmental regulations is required
• Demonstrate understanding of environmental compliance/permitting and ability to communicate requirements effectively and simplify complex regulatory issues.
• Capable of working effectively in teams and across functions to deliver results.
• Ability to be direct, decisive and accountable and consistent with our Chevron Way values.
• Display initiative and a self-starter attitude, setting priorities and maintaining a high level of accomplishment.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve exceptional results.

Special Considerations

• Flexibility to travel to the assets/field (mostly El Trapial, Neuquén).

Relocation is not offered for this role. Only local candidates will be considered.

International Considerations:

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
