We are currently seeking an Environmental Engineer, reporting directly to T.EN Italy Solutions Environmental & Sustainability Division Head to join our Environment team based in Italy, Rome.
About The Job
You will be responsible for developing the Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMP) and Sustainability documentation for projects in the energy and infrastructure sector, through:
- Analysis of the environmental aspects of the project phases (before, underway and post-work), relevant for the different environmental matrices (e.g. emissions into the atmosphere, noise, soil, water, biodiversity and landscape);
- Contribute to the definition of design standards and technical specifications;
- Verify the project documents drawn up by the contractors;
- Environmental/Safety data and technical documentation collection, analysis and management;
- Development of technical documentation relevant Environmental Engineering Services;
- External consultants Coordination;
- Interface / coordination with internal Project team;
- Investigation / monitoring activities Coordination;
- Work supervision and site survey;
- Interface and meetings with Clients, Public Authorities;
- Full availability to national/international mobility for either short-or-long-term assignment.
- Knowledge of ESG issues and corresponding regulatory frameworks and requirements (e.g. SDG goals, Carbon footprint, Carbon Neutrality, Net Zero, Agenda 20230)
- Experience with project sustainability assessment systems (e.g. Envision)

About You
Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 year experience in Environmental Engineering, gained in infrastructure projects or onshore / offshore plants. Experience in international projects is welcome.
Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of Italian Environmental Legislation (e.g. D.Lgs. 152/2006) with particular reference to environmental monitoring, environmental impact assessment, permitting, constraints analysis,
- Degree with full marks in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Natural Science or similar.
- Preferential criteria: GIS use
- Excellent knowledge of the Office tools
- Languages: Italian mother tongue, English fluent, other languages are a plu

- High interest with respect to the current Energy Transition challenges and Digital; Transformation process;
- Excellent oral/written communication and negotiation skills;
