We’re now seeking a Responder to join our Response Team on a permanent, full-time basis. 

The Benefits 

- Salary of $50,750 per annum
- Vacation – 27 days of vacation annually, plus public holidays
- An annual target bonus of 5 - 7.5%

The Role 

As a Responder, you will provide safe, prompt and efficient support to spill incidents and preparedness projects.

You’ll undertake an intensive 12 week training programme to give you the skills and confidence to safely and effectively support oil spill response operations and be on-call as part of the duty team, supporting spill mobilisations and potentially travelling globally at short notice.  

You’ll spend your days maintaining our readiness to respond to incidents, enhancing your personal skills and supporting the maintenance of our specialist oil spill response equipment. 

Additionally, you will:

- Provide expertise to other departments
- Support our presence through industry forums, conferences and contact with external stakeholders
- Update operational guidelines and maintenance procedures for new and existing equipment

About You

To be considered as a Responder, you will need:

- An aptitude for practical problem-solving
- The capability to work long hours in the field in challenging environments 
- Strong team-working skills 
- A positive, ‘can-do’ approach
- A strong safety ethos 
- Great communication and interpersonal skills 
- A full, valid driving license

Please note, you must live within one hour of our Fort Lauderdale base or be prepared to relocate to be considered for this role.
