This Position reports to:
Head of Performance Center

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic direction, leadership, management, and coordination of the Engineering function within a local division / product group. Each day, you will initiate, coordinate, drive, and oversee team development and continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the engineering and design capability. You will also showcase your expertise by driving the team's performance to ensure assigned engineering operations are executed successfully.

The work model for the role is: office

This role is contributing to the Process Automation in Ostrava.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Strategic Leadership: Align the department strategy with divisional goals to enhance EUOPC PAEN's value, ensuring their successful implementation. Drive EUOPC added value growth and engagement with local divisions.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop skilled engineering teams. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement to ensure the team is motivated and equipped to meet business needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships within PAEN and with all OPC partners. Seek feedback to provide innovative solutions that meet their needs. Support the di-visional sales team in preparing and presenting proposals to win new business.
  • Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and cybersecurity.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and operational capability. Implement best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, operational support services, and project management teams. Negotiate with suppliers and ensure all contractual obligations are met. Pro-vide technical consulting and support during the proposal and testing phases.


Qualifications for the role
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within engineering, operations, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of sales, project management, supply chain, and quality control process-es.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priori-ties.
  • A track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience in Energy Industries, such as oil, gas, chemicals, life sciences, power generation, and water sectors, is an advantage.
