About the Role:

Kariera Group recruitment services are seeking a Cost Engineers to join our clients through the MENAT Region.  

We are working with a number of leading Oil & Gas companies , who are seeking to hire experienced Cost Engineers to work on a number of Greenfield and Brownfield projects throughout the MENAT region.

The roles are for a minimum of one year with a possible extension, and comes with competitive rates of pay and rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

The Cost Engineer holds a pivotal role in ensuring cost-effective project execution and budget adherence within the oil and gas sector. This individual is responsible for accurate cost estimation, analysis, and control throughout project lifecycles, supporting Project Managers in achieving project objectives while maintaining financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Solid experience in cost engineering, project controls, or related roles within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial analysis, cost estimation, and budget management.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other cost management software tools.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, contract administration, and procurement processes.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are desirable.
