We are currently seeking a Operations Manager for Precommissioning and Commissioning Start Up, reporting directly to Precomm/Comm Manager to join our team based in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
About the Job
Providing maintenance engineering services or Customer Training Engineering services from the beginning of the engineering design phase to the safe delivery of an industrial facility to customers is his/her responsibility.
Main accountabilities:
Maintenance Engineering works: Handover from Proposal to Execution Team, Review Maintenance contractual scope of work, Align Maintenance Contractual and Proposal deliverables, Finalize Schedule / Issue Project Deliverables List Contribute & Attend Project KOM, Review resources assigned to the Project, Contribute to PCCSUOp/Mai/Trai/Handover execution plan, Issue of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability Study methodology, Execute Reliability, Availability, Maintainability Study, Issue of Operating Spare parts form filling up, Develop Material & Equipment Preservation Strategy, Review and approval of Preservation Job Cards, Issue Maintenance Engineering Methodology, Issue Operability and Maintainability Guidelines, Coordinate Maintenance Engineering & Reliability Study, Review and approval of Maintenance Manual, Coordinate Maintenance Engineers.
Lead Preservation/Maintenance activities at Site: Handover from Maintenance Home Office Team to Site Team, Review Preservation progress, Follow-up Maintenance/Preservation Supervision Mobilization, Attend PCCSUOp/Maint/Train Kick Off Meeting with Owner, Attend PCCSUOp/Maint/Train Kick Off Meeting with Subcontractors, Contribute to establish a HSE climate, Follow-up Subcontractor Mobilization for Preservation Works, Manage Preservation Work Front, Procure Equipment & Tools for Site Supervision if required, Organize Maintenance Works, Support the Issuance of Provisional Acceptance Certificate, Arrange Maintenance Supervision demobilization, Produce Maintenance Close-out report & provide feedbacks
Lead Customer Training Engineering: Handover from Proposal to Execution Team, Review Customer Training contractual scope of work, Align Customer Training Contractual and Proposal deliverables, Finalize Home Office Schedule / Issue Project Deliverables List, Contribute & Attend Project KOM, Review resources assigned to the Project, Contribute to PCCSUOp/Mai/Trai/Handover execution plan, Review & Approve Training Plan & Schedule before Issue, Review/Approve of Job descr & Customer Org. Chart before issue, Review/Approve Vendor & Licensor material Training, Review & Approve Contractor Training Material Development, Coordinate Training Engineers, Monitor the performance of training coordinators and instructors; Oversee training delivery in accordance with contractual training requirements and schedules.
Deploy Training Program
He/she is responsible to ensure that the Training Program deployment takes place at different venues, such as: Contractor Home Office, Equipment Vendor shops, Process Licensor offices, Similar Process Plants; Customer Plant Site; other as required by contract as defined in the Training Plan, He/she shall liaise on with client / PMCs operation personnel to approve sub system acceptance. Maintains relationship of maximum cooperation with Owner and with his appointed representatives, with Vendor specialists and process licensor Commissioning teams, to ensure mutual satisfaction and efficiency. He/she shall produce training Close-out report & provide feedbacks

About You

- Qualifications: University engineering degree
- Experience: minimum 8 years experience in Maintenance Engineering and 4 years experience in Training activities, in EPC Projects for Oil and Gas Industry.
- Skills: Management and leadership skills, Project management skills, Good interpersonal and influential skills
- Languages: Fluent English
