Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing an efficient, cross-functional team of R&D engineers and operational experts in the development, implementation, and global deployment of AI-enabled robotics solutions for unstructured logistics environments and machine tending applications. This role is central to guiding the growth strategy of the AI-enabled robotics Global Solution Center, ensuring profitability and overseeing the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the business. The goal includes promoting innovation, developing AI-enabled robotics business in Logistics and Machine Tending, managing project completion, and ensuring the integration of the latest technology into local operations globally. The objective is to expand our business globally while supporting local teams and systems integrators in the deployment, installation, and commissioning of solutions that elevate logistics efficiency and performance. Additionally, the role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and integrity across all operations, while developing and expanding an industrialization roadmap of the portfolio as well as after-sales capabilities within the Global Solution Center to support ongoing business growth and customer satisfaction worldwide. Your main responsibilities will be to: • Lead a cross-functional Global Solution Center team of approximately 40 professionals, including R&D engineers and operations experts, to develop and deploy AI-enabled robotics solutions in unstructured logistics environments globally. • Develop and implement the growth strategy for AI-enabled robotics solutions, enabling business expansion and identifying new market opportunities. • Promote innovation in AI and robotics technologies, collaborating with the BL R&D teams to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure the delivery of advanced solutions. • Ensure effective global deployment of AI-enabled robotics solutions, providing technical guidance and support to local country teams, systems integrators, and customers. • Provide engaging leadership and cultivate a collaborative culture, ensuring high performance and alignment with organizational goals across all teams involved in solution development and deployment. Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of robotics solutions and industrialized portfolio while maintaining high-quality standards. • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and integrity, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations in all operations, projects, and deployments. • Develop and expand after-sales capabilities within the Global Solution Center, establishing processes and resources to provide ongoing support for customers and maximize product value. • Oversee the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the Global Solution Center, ensuring financial health and profitability while balancing investments in innovation and operational efficiency. • Secure global engineering and supply chain efficiency with the promotion of the different OPCs, regional manufacturing through EDP, etc. • Build and maintain solid customer relationships. • Monitor quality metrics, identify opportunities for improvement in local and global operations, and oversee improvement activities. Qualifications for the role

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a senior leadership role overseeing interdisciplinary teams.
  • Significant experience (5+ years) in AI, robotics, or automation technologies, with an established ability to develop and implement solutions in real-world, unstructured environments like logistics and warehousing.
  • Experience overseeing global, cross-regional projects, with skills in managing deployment and integration across different cultures and logistics environments.
  • Experience in advancing business growth, developing go-to-market strategies, and expanding into new global markets.
  • Previous experience managing a business unit's P&L, with responsibility for financial forecasting, cost management, and ensuring profitability.
  • Ability to ensure seamless transition from development to production by optimizing manufacturing processes, improving scalability, and optimizing cost efficiency.
  • Proficient ability to define and implement business strategies, align operations with business goals, and identify opportunities for growth in global markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, customers, and technical teams.
