Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the operational management of Analytical Technology at the Frankfurt site of the Measurement & Analytics division and will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of Production, Industrial Engineering, Sales Operations, Purchasing, Quality, Operational Excellence and Logistics. You will optimize processes to ensure lean, efficient and error-free production to exceed customer requirements and maximize operational profitability. You will also be responsible for compliance, HSE and integrity and will work closely with other managers to ensure the sustainable and successful development of the business. Your main responsibilities will include: • Establishing a customer focused operational strategy in line with overall business objectives and ensuring KPIs are met, particularly in the areas of safety, quality, delivery performance, inventory management and productivity. • Responsibility for the operational performance of the factory Ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity and cost reduction targets through continuous process improvement and optimisation of operational management systems. • Budget and financial accountability, including preparing and meeting CapEx and OpEx forecasts, managing operational cash flow and meeting financial KPIs, particularly in relation to project costs, efficiency and delivery performance. • Build and develop a high performing team through focused talent development, performance review and continuous learning, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma) within the organisation and across business units. • Working closely with other Measurement & Analytics departments at the site, in particular Controlling, R&D, Service, Repair and HR. • Manage the operations of the Frankfurt site.

Qualifications for the role
- You have at least 5 years' experience in operations, ideally in the management of production sites, and have strong management experience. Due to your broad operational experience, you are able to master complex challenges with confidence.
- You have in-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing and lean organization and ideally have experience in optimizing production processes in small-batch production with high variance and technical complexity. Knowledge in the field of continuous gas analysis is an advantage.
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field and have solid experience in production and operations management.
- You are an experienced and strategic thinking leader with strong change management, process optimization and talent management skills.
- You are fluent in German and English and proactively drive efficiency and quality improvements.
