Job Purpose

• Manage the activities of planning, arranging and adjusting all Procurement requirements including purchasing the needed items for the different company activities, freights, storage and custom clearance as required.
• Supervise preparing all different contracts and tenders for Production, Maintenance, Drilling, Marine, Projects, Exploration; all ground & flight transportations.
• Provide the recommendation to approve the submitted contracts and the arrangements with all the related departments for these contracts and tenders.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise the study, analysis, and execution of procurement requests for equipment and technical services required to fulfill the needs of company's entire departments.
• Implement the company's procurement policies, managing tenders and contracts for various activities, in accordance with the governing regulations, the guidance of the Board of Directors, the two managing directors.
• Review the communication with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) to ensure it is aligned with the Company's business requirements; if needed.
• Provide consultation, coordination, and arrangement with Technical, Legal and Financial Departments to resolve any disputes related to explaining contract terms and conditions, purchasing material and services which may arise during execution and inform the related special authorities as needed.
• Supervise the development and updating of Service Procurement Contracts and Purchasing orders required for company activities.
• Address any updates and challenges encountered during implementation based on feedback from concerned departments.
• Oversee the development and update of the contractor and supplier register and participate in their performance evaluation and follow up on the required modifications in coordination with Company's policies and regulations.Supervise and direct various operations of freight and custom clearance for the imported equipment and machinery by the company and contractors in the light of the governing laws and agreements.

Education

• Graduate preferably in an Engineering or Commercial discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, with experience in Egyptian JV operation. He/she has to be accurate, efficient, with high quality on time and commitment for the required scope and budget.
