Senior Logistics Associate

We have an opportunity for a Senior Logistics Associate to join us at Honeywell, in Ellesmere Port, where you will be responsible for warehouse administrative activities within the Distribution Centre. You will provide the administrative function within the warehouse and interface between Customer Care and Transportation Carriers to ensure deliveries are released and dispatched to both domestic and export customers. The successful candidate is expected to have experience in Warehouse Management Processes.

This role is 100% onsite and will follow a shift pattern of Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the release of orders to the warehouse while preparing necessary shipping documentation, including PODs, invoices, and COO certificates.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Care department to prioritize requests and address customer queries effectively.
  • Communicate and cooperate with other departments to optimize logistics processes and provide daily warehouse administration support.
  • Prepare reports on day-to-day warehouse operations and KPIs, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety requirements and incorporating HOS principles like Lean and Six Sigma.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Experience of working in a process driven warehouse environment.
  • A Team Worker, self-motivated, proactive, and driven.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels using a variety of methods / tools.
