General ManagementOur client, a major Oil & Gas company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator II to work within their facilities located in Spring, TX for a 12-month contract (possible to extend).
Position Overview
Work in-country to manage the EPCs Logistics and Materials Management process. Serve as the Logistics interface between the Logistics Manager/Lead and the Contractor organization to ensure logistics execution. Act as a liaison between the Logistics Manager/Lead and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC). Provide Logistics and Materials Management support for all project deliverables.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Schedule and maintain shipments (internal and external).
- Field incoming calls and emails, responding appropriately and in a timely manner to customer inquiries.
- Enter orders received verbally and via fax/email into the computer system.
- Attend planning and prioritization meetings with high-level customers.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in logistics planning and execution, construction, safety, and procurement.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other Technical fields.
- Strong numerical skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
- Proficiency in basic algebra and geometry.
- General computer knowledge with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Willingness to travel for business (domestic/overseas) to project sites for functional support.
