This position reports to
Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor
Your role and responsibilities
Optimize inventory and process improvements Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials according to production schedules Manages inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs Defines requirements for and develops, implements, and/or monitors inventory management systems With the team leader, provide teamwork direction and daily kick-off communications Enforce and improve Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and compliance Enforce and improve cross-training for all shipping areas Schedule dedicated truck, expedited truck, and other premium transportation as authorized by Supervisor; trend premium transportation spend and recommend methods to reduce cost Develop and integrate processes that meet business needs across the organization and continuously improve operations for safety, efficiency, quality, and cost Develop strong cross-functional relationships and operating mechanisms with plant managers, product line leaders, commercial team members, customer service, and finance Manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise Update and publish operational performance metrics and/or SOT's Drive service performance and contribute to the overall business strategy Act on all matters pertaining to materials, schedules, status, and inventory and translate, prepare, and assign meaningful and functional productivity plans to meet established master schedules for customers

Qualifications for the role
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in production, planning, or logistics
- Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
