Degrader Action Cell (DAC) Lead, Senior Logistics Specialist)

KBR is seeking a DAC Lead, Senior Logistics Specialist to join our team. This position supports the NAVAIR PMA-231 Advanced Hawkeye Command and Control E-2D platform office and will be based out of NAS Patuxent River, MD. In this role, you will p articipate in meetings, while collecting, completing, organizing, and interpreting technical data.

The E-2/C-2 Airborne Command and Control Systems Program Office (PMA-231) is responsible for providing the E-2C Hawkeye, E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, Hawkeye 2000 and the C-2A Greyhound fleet with acquisition strategy, logistics and sustainment solutions in support of the warfighter's mission.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Prepares logistics support documentation and source data, such as logistics operational management/user documents, integrated logistics support plans, user logistics support summaries, post-production support plans, maintenance plans, and logistics implementation plans.
  • Implements logistics plans, databases, and support files to support the fielding of new complex information systems or major modifications.
  • Applies logistics principles and methods to specialized logistics solutions. Performs logistics database management functions.
  • Performs logistics inventories and related logistics functions.
  • Works independently and leads the implementation of logistics discipline.

Specific tasking will include but is not limited to:
  • Acts as the Degrader Action Cell (DAC) lead to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Works closely with, and coordinate feedback from the Fleet, Subject Matter Experts (SME), Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), various Integrated Product Team (IPT), vendors, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)
  • Provides in-depth research for top Fleet readiness degraders
  • Acts a liaison between PMA-231 and the Fleet to identify top degraders, elevating to the Reliability Control Board (RCB)
  • Lead and participates in recurring meetings with Industry partners (OEMs) to achieve readiness goals
  • Participates in various recurring weekly and bi-weekly meetings to pre-identify the "next" Fleet readiness degraders
  • Facilitates site visits from various entities as required via the Airborne Command & Control and Logistics Wing (ACCLOGWING)
  • Presents findings to the RCB Team, senior United States Navy (USN), and IPT Leadership via Teams call or in person.
  • May be responsible for co-leading meetings and capturing actions items/ meeting minutes.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree plus Five (5) to Twelve (12) or more years of combined experience performing duties described in the job description OR an A ssociate's degree plus Nine (9) to Sixteen (16) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a bachelor's degree OR a High School Diploma Plus Thirteen (13) to Twenty (20) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Must have an active secret level security clearance. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation; Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Must be able to travel as required by contract. Travel may be required to various OEMs, Fleet Readiness Centers (FRC), and various off-site meetings places up to 10%.

Preferred Skills:
  • Must be highly proficient Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project & Outlook).
  • Prior experience establishing business processes.
  • Prior experience balance priorities to work effectively in the fast-paced program office environment.
  • Prior experience recommending process improvements.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced program office environment.

Scheduled Weekly Hours:
  • 40 hours/week

Compensation:
  • $117,370 - $176,000

T he offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
