Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

We now have an opportunity for a Senior Logistics Analyst reporting to the Senior Manager Global Logistics. This is a hybrid role with a minimum 3 days per week at our Geismar, LA location. Required to travel between Geismar and Baton Rouge locations as appropriate to assist process improvement projects, and to attend meetings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Communication and Coordination
  • Work with Customer Care, Sales, Logistics, Operations, Trade Compliance, IT and Supply Chain - amongst others - to identify process improvements, and own delivery of improvements.

Performance and Metrics Management
  • Monitor and analyze metrics provided by Ocean Freight Forwarders.
  • Work with 4PLs and carriers to achieve On-time Pick-up (OTP) and On-time Delivery (OTD).
  • Monitor and report on Baton Rouge and Geismar site performance, and that of North American downpackers, and work with Operational Leaders to identify and report on their improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with Customer Care and Supply Chain Planning to investigate and address root causes for On-time to First Promise (OTFP) and On-time to Request (OTTR) misses due to Logistics.

Compliance
  • Work with Trade Compliance to ensure customs declaration compliance.

Process Ownership and Improvement
  • Support operations with On Time Pick up, Delivery, Post Goods Issue, and Visibility improvement initiatives.
  • Assist Logistics Procurement during the Annual Road and Intermodal Freight RFQ processes, and support vendor set-up.
  • Develop and standardize SOPs for in-region logistical activities.
  • Review existing operational processes and identify and implement improvements.
  • Identify and implement savings initiatives.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Logistics or Supply Chain Analyst role.
  • Hands-on experience with Road and Ocean shipping modes.
  • Familiarity with import/export documentation requirements and customs formalities.

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • An eagerness to learn, adapt, and collaborate within a team environment.
  • A passion for sustainability and a drive to contribute to meaningful change.
