External: Regular engagement with customers and key suppliers. Working with industry bodies as required. Seeks opportunities to interface with peers in competitor organizations

- Supports assurance of the Wood Business Management System through a structured risk-based program.
- Supporting measures that ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement using performance data to make factually based decisions.
- Engaging and presenting quality leads/managers with information and data to enable preventive interventions. The scope of this position typically applies in support of a deployed Quality manager on a larger/complex Program/project.
- This will be referred to as "Organization" within the context of this Role profile
- Supporting all aspects of Quality across the breadth of their respective organization and the services we provide.
- Identification and regular engagement with key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
- Support the effective planning of quality across the full scope of services under the program/project. This may include the allocation of quality resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the implementation of the Wood Business Management System (BMS) across the organization ensuring that its application is effective and that compliance with the system is routinely monitored, assessed, and improved as necessary.
- Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of quality systems across their organization (e.g., NCR, improvements, lessons learned, etc)
- Supporting the creation of quality deliverables in support of overall work execution and in accordance with agreed timelines.
- Supporting the planning and execution of risk-based assurance plans including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders.
- Monitoring and analysis of delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to quality managers/leads, and undertaking intervention as required.
- Supporting effective supply chain management to ensure the right first-time delivery of products and services • Gathering and acting upon customer feedback ensuring action is taken to maintain and improve customer satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to present business cases and facts to influence their organization's leaders and their respective Quality teams
- Apply knowledge and solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and internal Wood standards.
- Ability to define budgets and approve expenditures in line with DOA.
Qualifications:
- Degree/diploma or local equivalent in Quality management, project management, or related discipline (desirable)
- Lead Auditor qualification by a recognized industry body (essential)
- Membership of CQI/ASQ Quality organizations, Project Management Institute or equivalent (desirable)
- Formal training in recognized root cause analysis techniques (essential)
- Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- 8+ years of relevant experience (preferably in the associated industry)
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001
- Proficient in the analysis of processes and data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- High Level of communication skills in both written and spoken format
- Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques
