As Development Quality Assurance (DQA) Engineer you will be part of DQA & PLCCD (Development Quality Assurance & Product Life-Cycle Configuration and Documentation) team into Controls, Accessories and Marine (CAM) organization.
CAM is responsible for Controls product of Avio Aero, including digital control units (Software per RTCA/DO-178, AQAP 2210 and Complex Hardware per RTCA/DO-254).
In this role you will provide independent assurance that CAM products development and design change processes (for both software and complex hardware) are performed in compliance with company quality system and applicable regulatory requirements and standards.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback from Development Quality Assurance standpoint.
  • Prepare Development Quality Assurance competence documents (e.g., Qualification Plan, Qualification Procedure, Quality records, checklists, etc.) to develop consistent satisfactory hardware and software products.
  • Work with engineering development team to execute both software and complex hardware projects and provide oversight to ensure meet compliance to approved project plans, company quality system and applicable regulatory requirements and standards
  • Participate in design reviews and boards to ensure product specifications and development activities are aligned with the organization's quality objectives
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality assurance activities.


Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, from an accredited university or college, in STEM disciplines or High School Technical Diploma with industry experience
  • Proven work experience in quality assurance and/or design and development for software and/or complex hardware
  • Collaborative attitude and critical thinking
  • Self-motivated and able to balance multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Good communication and ability to work in team
  • Fluent written and spoken Italian and English
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, and Italian Citizenship are required
