Our team in Space & Defense is looking for an Offshore Manufacturing Operations Manager to join them. You will report to the Operations Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.

As an Offshore Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will:

• Lead and assist in business systems changes to ensure 100% on-time deliveries to the Master Schedule at the lowest practical cost.
• Facilitate technical transitions of products to offshore facilities and implement process flow improvements.
• Ensure on-time material releases to offshore facilities.
• Plan for capacity surges and flexibility to avoid downtime labor charges.
• Drive innovation by exploring new improvements through reading, courses, conferences, site visits, and Development Orders.
• Guide functional offshore locations.
• Track and report Key Process Indicators to drive customer satisfaction and improve financial performance.
• Provide ongoing technical support for day-to-day offsite manufacturing, including urgent calls after normal business hours due to time zone differences.

Special Circumstances:

• Manage multiple offshore manufacturing locations.
• Support international outsourcing, addressing challenges of cultural differences, language barriers, and maintaining smooth communication.
• Ensure offshore teams meet Moog's quality standards through regular monitoring and setting clear expectations.

To be considered for Offshore Manufacturing Operations Manager, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field.
• 5 years of professional/technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 years of direct leadership experience.
• Must be willing to travel a minimum of 8 weeks or more out of the year both domestic and internationally.
• Experience with project management and utilizing organizational skills.
• Proficiency negotiating and communicating cross functionally across the organization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through demonstrated success in team building, performance management, and building customer relationships.

Salary Range Transparency:
Blacksburg, VA $80,000.00-$115,000.00 Annually
