Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be part of the Strategic Supply Unit, you will support the increased outsourcing ambition of MOIM division and ensure the ramp-up of products and supplier side with the highest regard to quality. You will closely cooperate with category teams, responsible buyers, Quality & Operations, Sustainability/HSE, R&D/Engineering and project tender teams, among others.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the LV motors business in EU .

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Driving the supplier qualification/re-qualification process and ensure the supply base is and remain fully qualified and compliant
• Ensuring compliance with ABB Supplier Code of Conduct, ethics & corporate governance, and sustainability goals.
• Scheduling, monitoring and approving supplier production, products, materials, and project subcontractor service activities, as applicable
• Operationally leading issue resolutions such as quality issues, late deliveries, non-conforming products, or project services. Manage root cause analysis, drive corrective actions incl. claim management
• Quality documentation handling
• Driving continuous improvements of supplier base capabilities and performance to ensure conformance with Customer and ABB requirements and the implementation of category strategy

Qualifications for the role:

• 3-5 years of experience and knowledge in the Quality profession
• Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes
• Be able to present accreditations/ certification across the quality profession - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
• Lean Manufacturing Certification, Total Quality Management Certification, Supplier qualification (ISO 9001, VDA 6.3, PPAP, APQP), Quality Management tools as VSM, DMAIC, Ishikawa, 5WHY, 8D`s, etc.
• System & IT-Skills/ experience incl. SAP is a plus
• Good/ strong language skill in English is a must
• Ready to travel internationally when needed between factory/ ABB offices and supplier side
• Team player - find flexible ways in a multi-cultural environment to solve problems and drive collaboration to create a win-win. Good decision-making ability
