Vestas Technology & Operations > Planning & Logistics > Nacelles Logistics, NCE,MED&LATAM

Our Nacelles Logistics Team within Global Supply Chain organization is responsible for setting up and securing E2E material flow all the way from vendor to all our factories within Nacelles Segment in NCE, MED and LAT region in close collaboration with all Vestas Commodity/Sub-Modular Teams. We are not only responsible for securing the balance between material availability & inventory level and due diligence during ramp up & down of production plans but we also complete decision making in Vestas with our supply chain expertise from commercial discussions over technical considerations until operational implementation.

Responsibilities

You will become a part of a team of approx. 6 people located in 2 different countries and all with various backgrounds within and outside the company. Here you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting our NCE, MDE & LAT factories to make sure we stay within our targets and secure that we are able to execute on our production plans and customer deliveries by preparing and securing a resilient upstream supply chain
  • You will be responsible for participating in NPI projects to secure solid ramp up and hand-over to manufacturing as well as gatekeep the logistic setup, support and lead risk mitigation teams
  • To support the continues development of our supply chain by identifying requirements in the factories and working on solutions with our stakeholders, improve business processes and securing resilient material flows to finally reduce Total Cost of Ownership is of essence to prepare our business for the future


Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or similar
  • Several years of experience with supply chain in an industrial environment
  • Experience with Change- & stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of Project Management in smaller scale within logistic
  • We prefer practical experience with logistics in an ERP system (SAP)
  • We prefer Business process engineering skills


Competencies
  • Can lead & implement logistic concepts in a complex supply chain
  • Good networker
  • Analytic skills combined with a systematic approach and commercial thinking
  • Knowledge of LEAN & the LEAN toolbox
  • Independent and self-motivated work approach
  • Skills in change management or situational leadership
  • Fluent in English
