Purpose of Position:

Quality Manager - Project
Purpose of Position:
Support Quality Manager with the implementation of Quality programmes and procedures. Responsible for the planning, implementation, and continuous oversight of the Quality Assurance program throughout the project lifecycle. This role provides specialized technical expertise to ensure all project activities - from engineering to procurement and execution - comply with contractual and regulatory requirements, company standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements the Project Quality Plan in compliance with the Company's Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Prepares and maintains the Project Audit Schedule; conducts internal audits accordingly.
- Tracks and investigates Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensures timely closure.
- Maintains the Audit Findings Register and follows up on corrective actions.
- Ensures full alignment of project quality activities with corporate IMS policies and procedures.
- Reports on and analyzes Quality KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Implements the R1T (Right First Time) program to reinforce a culture of quality across the project.
- Ensures verification and traceability of all Engineering Assurance Activities.
- Provides quality input to Package Criticality Assessments and maintains the Criticality Register.
- Contributes to the preparation of package engineering documents, including PQRs, PCLs, and SDRs.
- Verifies that engineering deliverables meet defined quality and contractual expectations.
- Follows up on the Technical Audit Schedule, evaluates responses to findings, and approves their closure.
- Contributes to the development of Evaluation Plans (EVPs).
- Evaluates bidders in line with defined quality criteria and provides input to Bid Evaluation Packages (BEPs).
- Participates in BCMs and supports Technical Evaluation (TEV) processes.
- Participates in Kick-Off Meetings (KOMs) and Pre-Production Meetings (PPMs) with suppliers.
- Leads audits of suppliers and sub-suppliers.
- Reviews and approves supplier-provided documents, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and other quality procedures.
- Coordinates Third-Party Inspections and ensures compliance with technical and quality requirements.
- Manages and resolves supplier NCRs, Deviation Requests (DRs), and Concession Requests (CRs).
Specific responsibilities:
- Ensure suppliers comply with client requirements
Experience, Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or in relevant technical discipline.
- Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, preferably within the oil & gas or large-scale infrastructure sectors.
- Proven experience in leading project QA functions, conducting supplier audits, and verifying engineering deliverables.
- Proficiency in quality tools and techniques, including auditing, statistical analysis, root cause investigation, and performance measurement.
