Your role and responsibilities

Responsible for design and development of new products as well as maintenance of legacy products, you will be responsible for conceptualization, design, development, testing and deployment of web and windows applications Providing broad technical software support and training, if required, to clients using ABB solution in the data center industry Working with Project Managers to define scope, features and estimates for new projects. Planning and leading project activities with the development team Working directly on development tasks; provide technical leadership; coordinate with other resources and creating high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets Developing the Product Design and Architecture for the applications under development. Developing Architecture documents and reviewing of the design documents done by others Doing software Implementation on key areas should the need arise or if team needs support. Reviewing of the implementation to ensure that the functionality adhering to design and is of a high quality Willing to become proficient at installing, configuring and troubleshooting the software. Understanding, analyzing and helping the development team on customer cases related to existing releases of DCA Products Communicating with management & stakeholders on the planning and progress of activities

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5-8 years of experience with designing Software Architecture and overall software development experience of 12-15 years. Should have architected and designed web based software applications and desktop software applications
• Desirable to have architecture related certification like TOGAF. Expertise in Microsoft technologies like C++, C#, .Net, ASP.NET MVC, .Net Core
• Expertise in Web Technologies like Angular, React, Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs and Micro Service applications
• Experience with JS-based tools including Jasmin, Bower, Grunt and Gulp
• Experience of Relational database Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL time series database
• Hands on Experience in Cloud technologies (Azure)
• Exposure to real time Industrial Automation domain, particularly OPC-UA or DA and Modbus TCP
• Expertise in the development of real-time, multi threaded applications, architectural tools like Enterprise Architect
