We are hiring! We are seeking a Operations Supervisor for our project based in Mentone, Texas.

How will you contribute to the team?
  • Supervision either directly or indirectly of Field Service Technicians, field/ shop personnel and area clerk and/or secretarial personnel.
  • Assign tasks and duties of direct reports as appropriate.
  • Generate performance appraisals for all direct reports.
  • Resolve conflicts among subordinates, Initiate and document disciplinary action when appropriate.
  • Schedule vacations for direct reports.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the care and wellbeing of compression assets.
  • Ensure that preventative maintenance is performed and pursuant to company standards on all compression equipment.
  • Oversee field overhaul or compression equipment.
  • Perform regular inspections of all compression equipment within the geographic area of responsibility.
  • Investigate and document major equipment failures. Recommend and implement procedures to avoid repeat failures.
  • Know when to reach out for Tech support from the ROM and other supervisors.
  • Keep abreast of new equipment features and service bulletins on existing equipment, ensure distribution to all appropriate personnel.
  • Manage inventory to ensure necessary parts are kept on hand and to optimize stock levels. Enforce authority over parts purchases to minimize unnecessary stocking of parts and excessive material costs.
  • Ensure that all company guidelines for working in a safe environment are strictly followed.
  • Review all required safety documentation for safety violations and/or accident reporting and take appropriate action.
  • Think safety all the time.
  • Ensure that SNC complies with any and all environmental regulations.
  • Maintain environmental records relative to Business operations such as engine emissions output and is disposal of waste oil and filters.

Financial Administration:
  • Review spending practices of field personnel.
  • Training.
  • Ensure that field personnel are appropriately trained to maintain and repair their assigned equipment.
  • Monitor the progress of each service employee.
  • Ensure that all direct and indirect subordinates have been appropriately updated on company policies and procedures. Ensure also that they have been in contact with Human Resources Department personnel new employee orientation, if applicable.

  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up and 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
  • Pass the required physical examination, including drug and alcohol screening.

What will you contribute?
  • 5+years in a mechanic-related position required.
  • Prefer supervisory experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be reliable, dependable, and able to work long hours if required.
  • Must be able to travel whenever necessary.
  • Must work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Thoroughunderstandingofthemechanicalaspectsorreciprocatingandrotaryscrewnaturalgas compressors.
  • Understandingofancillarycompressionandgasproductionrelatedequipment.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to perform supervisory function and the ability to interact appropriately with customers.
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbal.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and proven ability to quickly learn, utilize and comprehend other software.
  • Must be able to learn and become proficient in Microsoft D 365.
  • Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record in the line with requirements.
  • Must be able to pass all DOT drug-related testing.
