PART 2 - MAIN PURPOSE
This person is responsible for assisting in the implementation of a global LNG ETRM system as well as developing out the LNG system to meet the requirements of the PetroChina group. They will analyse, filter and co-ordinate user requests with the wider project team, setting and managing user expectations. The candidate will have a strong background in LNG trading and ETRM implementations.

PART 2 - MAIN PURPOSE
This person is responsible for assisting in the implementation of a global LNG ETRM system as well as developing out the LNG system to meet the requirements of the PetroChina group. They will analyse, filter and co-ordinate user requests with the wider project team, setting and managing user expectations. The candidate will have a strong background in LNG trading and ETRM implementations.
PART 3 - JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather business requirements and model business processes
- Describe solutions at a functional level including key assumptions and dependencies.
- Describe business processes the solution is expected to cover as well as the impact of the changes to be delivered.
- Chasing down point detail issues on requirements, brokering decisions and achieving consensus
- Support the creation of a test strategies/cases and execute these
- Supporting technical resources involved in designing the solution to ensure full coverage of business processes and requirements
- Supporting decision-making around the phased delivery of the solution
- Assist with change management activities including benefits realisation planning, training and communications.
- Assist with estimating level of effort involved in future phases.
- Work autonomously and within a team to deliver technology enabled business change.
PART 4 - QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS
- Significant expertise in LNG Trading
- Ideally (but not mandatory) expertise with Planlogic EoS
- Exposure to shipping management
- Exposure to key Trading, Risk and product control processes
- Strong understanding of the data flows within an energy trading business
- Understanding of trading and financial terminology.
- Experience of specifying and writing functional specifications and business requirements for development teams is essential
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
- Working in a dynamic environment the candidate should have an understanding of core LNG trading processes with a focus on risk and product control.
- They should be able to quickly adapt to and manage the changing priorities of the business and be able to manage business expectations.
- Working closely with a wide range of key business stakeholders (front, middle, back office) to understand requirements (functional & non-functional), running workshops and writing up results.
